YOUR PUZZLE, YOUR DEVICE
Privacy notice
This notice covers the 4FunPuzzle website and its optional solver analytics.
Updated October 8, 2026.
Puzzle inputs and answers
Your grid, remaining numbers, drafts and calculated answers stay in the page’s memory. The solver runs in your browser and does not send this information to a server. There is no screenshot upload, account, saved puzzle history or feedback form in this version.
Use Clear puzzle to remove the current entries, or reload to start again. Your puzzle is not saved to browser storage, so keep your own copy before refreshing or leaving.
Optional analytics and your choices
Analytics are disabled by default in development builds and on preview addresses. When enabled on the official solver page, optional Google Analytics 4 helps us measure input difficulties, search outcomes and visible answer delivery. It loads only after you choose Allow analytics. Saying no does not affect solving, and no analytics requests are sent before your choice.
We send event names, application versions, calculation rules, coarse puzzle-size groups, result/error categories and timings. We do not send your grid, numbers, equations, answers, screenshots, exact coordinates or error text. Page addresses have queries and fragments removed; only allowlisted referral hosts are used. We do not forward arbitrary campaign parameters.
Google Analytics may process your IP address and technical browser/device information and use first-party analytics cookies with pseudonymous identifiers. This is not anonymous collection. We do not add account IDs, fingerprinting or advertising scripts. Google Signals and advertising personalization are disabled. See Google’s privacy policy.
Open Analytics settings in the solver’s footer to refuse or withdraw. Withdrawal stops subsequent collection, clears our pending events and removes analytics cookies we can control. It does not delete data already received by Google or cancel requests already in flight. Once the tag has been loaded, analytics stay disabled for the rest of that page load; you can keep solving without a reload.
Storage and retention
We store only your analytics choice in local storage when available. Your puzzle and answers are never saved there. If browser storage is blocked, your choice lasts for the current page. Allowing analytics may create Google Analytics cookies. The production property is configured to retain user/event data for 14 months; the separate QA property uses 2 months, without resetting retention on new activity. These settings do not limit the retention of standard aggregated reports.
Only the maintainer has analytics access. The home, About, Privacy and Contact pages do not load the analytics tag. Contact us below with questions about collected information.
Website delivery and security
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. Loading a page sends ordinary technical request information to the hosting service, such as your IP address and information about your browser and network traffic. Cloudflare may process that information to provide and protect its services.
Local puzzle calculation does not make website visits anonymous to the hosting provider. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its data handling. We do not promise a specific hosting-log retention period or processing location.
External links and information you choose to share
Following a link to another website takes you to a separate service with its own privacy practices. Those services receive the information involved in your visit. We do not embed external fonts, images or social widgets in the solver.
If you contact us through a separate service, you choose what to send. Do not include passwords, account credentials or private details in puzzle screenshots or messages.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when the website’s data handling changes. The date above identifies this version of the notice.
Email contact and privacy questions
You can contact us at support@4funpuzzle.com. When you email us, we receive your email address and the message or attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request and, where relevant, investigate the problem you report.
Email is handled through email services, separately from the local solver. The website does not automatically attach or send your puzzle. Share only what is needed for your request. You can use this address to ask about information you have sent us; our Contact page explains how to report a problem.
